Maleknaz is an assistant professor at York University in computer and software engineering. She is a board member of the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation which focuses on supporting youth and young adults through leadership training and academic support, as well as an Editorial Board Member for Array. Maleknaz is an award-winning researcher and professor, multilingual, with degrees from Iran and from Canada, a focus in engineering research and a passion for programming and algorithm design.
