- Setup a homework-friendly workspace.
- Schedule a regular study time.
- Help them make a plan.
- Check what needs to be done early.
- Keep distractions to a minimum.
- Make sure kids do their own work.
- Be a motivator and monitor.
- Stay calm!
- Set a good example.
- Praise their work and efforts.
